Insulator heater: the successful performance of electrostatic precipitator depends on the temperature inside many factories, including electrostatic precipitator. Air enters the electrostatic precipitator through the opening of the insulator. The heater is installed here to heat the incoming air, thus maintaining the temperature in the ESP.
Hopper heater: Suspended particulate matter (SPM) in flue gas flow passing through ESP is collected in the hopper below. These are then taken out of ESP and transported by conveyors of various designs. However, due to the moisture and low temperature in the hopper, this kind of dust sometimes jams and accumulates in the hopper. This will adversely affect the performance of ESP. Therefore, the hopper heater is installed in the hopper wall, which helps to maintain the temperature in the hopper, thus avoiding any blockage or accumulation.
The shape of the heater is different due to different manufacturers’ designs. The voltage and power of the heater can be customized according to customers’ needs and made according to customers’ drawings or samples.
